cobalt is the smallest VPS I could rent in Europe. It does three things: it is the off-site target for my backups, it runs the uptime checks for the things at home, and it hosts these notes.
The notes are for me. I write them after I've spent an evening figuring something out, so that the next time I don't have to. If they're useful to you, great.
The name is from the hostname scheme at home, which is metals. The NAS is iron. You can guess the rest.
